I used to do this in my college dorm room but now not so much.  I work in a group home though and the girls tend to rearrange their furniture at least once a week if not more.  Also, I do think one of the best parts of moving is getting to reorganize everything while unpacking so that everything we acquire is no longer in the way.

I do this all.the.time. Everytime I hardcore clean I end up having to move the furniture anyways. I figure, why not make it fun and new?

I wish I could do that, because that would mean I had more than a 1 BR condo hahaha. Not much room for rearranging everything…

My sisters did this growing up!  I swear the middle one was switching things up constantly.  She’s now in Architecture.  πŸ™‚  I don’t very often but sometimes the mood will strike me.  Hopefully it doesn’t while we’re living in this house since it’s so small I don’t think there’s a better way to arrange it!

That would drive me crazy!  Haha!  I like things to have their place and stay there.  Switching up their places all the time would not go over very well with me! πŸ™‚

I like to plan the layout of everything before I set the room up, but then if it’s workable I leave it. Mr.ND’s mom moves the kitchen around CONSTANTLY, and it’s so frustrating when the garbage is someplace new across the room, or the minifridge is hiding somewhere else. I think part of the reason he’s in love with me is that he always knows where things will be at my place πŸ™‚ Haha.

My husband’s the one who randomly moves our furniture around. At least he used to always do that, but he’s apparently happy with our current layout b/c he hasn’t done it in a while.

Growing up, I used to do this in my bedroom like once a month! Then when I started having to do arrangements I had done before b/c there wasn’t anything “new” left, I started in on the living room haha. (And I was like 13 … my parents would come home and the living room would be completely different … so awesome)

I think I’ve outgrown the habit, b/c when my Fiance unloads the dishwasher and puts things away, they never get put in the ‘right’ place and it irks me so bad LOL!

lol.

My mom did this when I was growing up. She still does, but to a lesser extent. I used to LOVE it. It was just me and her growing up so every couple of weeks she would just get bored and  we would move everything out of a room and we would figure out new and creative ways to rearrange it. We had fun moving huge heavy furniture by ourselves. Lots of laughs.

She also happens to be very good at puzzles and her favorite activity was tangram puzzles so it makes sense.

I definitely declutter but never rearrange furniture.  I’m an ‘everything has its place’ kinda girl πŸ™‚

I used to do this at my parents house in my bedroom at least twice a year. We dont’ really have that option in our house now, everything is pretty much in the perfect spot, at least until we upgrade our furniture. But I do change out pictures every once in a while

I love rearranging and so does Darling Husband, but our apartment is way too small to switch much up… πŸ™

It’s funny though because when Darling Husband leaves for Navy training, I already promised I wouldn’t rearrange too much while he’s gone because he wouldn’t know where stuff was when he comes home!  I never thought of that before he brought it up, but I guess it would be quite a shock to come home after several months and it’s nothing like you left it…
