Yes, you are.
Oh. Wait. I get it now. Hah!
haha i have to mentally say Save the Dates when i look at it or i laugh! haha
No I def laughed haha..I was like what? OH!
Well…with English not being my first language it took my by surprise the first few times I saw it…and I still giggle every time I see it! 😉
Not anymore since it’s so ingrained … but when my sister was getting married several years ago, she texted me to ask for my address to send me an STD.
I thought, first of all, how rude to anthrax me with chlamydia in the first place, and second of all, to expect me to provide my own address for you to do it?!?! WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO????
LOL. No I think it’s funny, especially when they are worded in a way that could go either direction 😛
ie. My FI doesn’t like our STDs.
First time I came onto this site, I thought
‘Holy crap, who the hell would be SO OPEN about STDs?!!? Especially on the Internet?!’
I still get confused at this stage, and I’ve been here for a year or so lol… 😉
LOL I do too!
Sidenote: In college I was inducted into an Honor Society for English majors called Sigma Tau Delta, which was unfortunately abbreviated STD. I would crack up whenever someone mentioned the “STD Induction” or “STD Meeting.”
Definitely not. I’m 12 on the inside!
Hahaha. When I first joined the Bee I thought it was so funny that everyone called them STDs. So then I started carrying that into my real life.. i.e. “did you get my STD yet?”
My friend then adopted the term too.. “we have soo many weddings this year, our fridge is covered in STDs!”
Ha! So mature 😉
I giggle more at posts about “problems with my BMs” and the like!
HAHA Nope. It was funny when we were saying STD at work for Software Test Description too. Finally like 3 years later, one of the managers on the project says to me, was I the only one that hated that acronymn.
The topic ‘Am I the only one who giggles when I see STD threads? :-P’ is closed to new replies.
