I do! Most of our friends and the cousins that will be coming all have kids. And kids ensure the dance floor will always have at least someone out there dancing!

Edit to add: In my opinion, marriage is about family, not just the bride & groom.

We are too and we’re just hoping they’re well behaved … it’s the babies I’d really prefer stay at home (crying, can’t really enjoy it, won’t remember it, etc.)

I’m fine with kids at my wedding, it’s just the amount I’m worried about.

Having 10 or 12 kids is one thing, but if everyone we’re inviting who has kids brought them we’d have like 40 people under 10! Not fun.

So I’m on the fence. There will be a lot of kids there but I’m hoping a lot of parents opt for babysitters.

We will have kids too, but only a few. Fiance adores his neices. I’m a little bit worried about the youngest ones during the ceremony. We’ll see.

We had kids and babies at ours and everything went off without a hitch (though we don’t know that many people with kids so probably like 8 kids/babies total).  The only time they were whisked away was during the sit down dinner, there were a couple babysitters to take them elsewhere and feed them and play with them over the several course meal but they were there for the wedding, cocktail hour(s) and dancing.

I love kids and I think it’d be so fun to have kids at the reception, but I’m too afraid of having an incident during the ceremony :/

I’ve never actually been invited to a no kids wedding; I really wonder if this is a “regional/cultural” type of decision.

We had kids at ours (obviously) and it was sooooooooo fun!  The kids and babies were all absolute angels during the ceremony, and all of them partied hard at the reception.  It was a blast!

Yes, children will be welcome at our wedding. I could never say no kids to anyone.

@MrsNeutrino:  Funny story.  We took our daughter to a wedding when she was 2 months old.  She was a perfect angel during the ceremony except…  she started pooping (loudly) right in the middle of it!  And we were sitting right next to the videographer, lol.  I’ve never had the nerve to ask the bride and groom if they can hear our baby pooping on their wedding video…

The venue we’re hoping to have actually has a huge playground in it.. so that pretty much sums up our attitude on kids at our wedding.

Out of our apprx. 125 guests, about 25/30 of them are children.
