I have no idea what Saipua is!  Could you post a picture?

I would have loved an Elie Saab dress – his designs are just amazing.  This was my dream dress:

I still think it is gorgeous, but in retrospect, I doubt it would have been as flattering on me as my actual dress was πŸ™‚

I also would have loved fireworks, but it wasn’t in the budget.  It is funny, because I never got the point of having them at wedding until our venue had a display at our tasting.  it was AWESOME.  Both my husband and I were immediately trying to see if we could make it work lol.

@BridieBea:  Oh I see it!  I must have started typing before you added it.  Those flowers are beautiful, and very evocative in a way lots of flowers are not.  I see why you are lusting after them πŸ™‚

And thanks!

I had a dream months ago that Preston Bailey did my wedding decor/flowers  – I couldn’t afford him for one hour, much less an entire wedding – but it was a nice dream lol!

I always joked with my friends that my dream was to have a pair of albino peacocks wandering around at my wedding.  hahaha

Fireworks for sure. They are my absolute favorite. I even tried to convince my younger brother to get certified in pyrotechnics (haha!), but no such luck.

Mine’s supper stupid.  I have always dreamed of having a disco ball.  When we first talked to our DJ he said they don’t even carry them because they’re so outdated.  He suggested we look into a lighting rental.  So tried that, and then found out from the venue that they have no way to hang a disco ball and don’t allow ANYTHING to be hung from the walls or ceilings.  Sad face.  But we ordered some custom gobos with our dia de los muertos bride and groom logo…so that will be cool too!

Not a personal photo πŸ™‚

I’m having a hard time figuring out what to do with my entrance because it’s a really long open stretch to get to the ceremonay site – and in a secret part of my heart I really want to come in on a boat. Like a cute little row boat!

George Clooney. πŸ˜‰

Ha! I kid, but something outrageous that we’d never be able to afford would be a huge reception, open bar and HUGE centerpieces. It will be much more low key than that. πŸ™‚

@icetea:  I think that’s super cute! I kinda dig disco balls too. I find it hard to believe that they’re so difficult to acquire!

A venue that I have to make no compromises on, in my price range… with amazing food and drink selections, of course.
