OKay, I know we are all obsessed with various things. The main things that give me anxiety have to do with timelines. Like, get to the church at 4, walk down at 4:30, take photos at 5, etc. You get the idea. The other thing I’m obsessed with is making sure I have the pERFECT LOOK! I want my dress to match my venue, the feel, the time of year. I want my hair, my make up, my accessories to seemlessly flow together. It’s insane.
One of my main things is that I’m TERRIFIED that when he finally proposes, my nails won’t be done (LMAO). I’m also hoping he kinda hints for me to at least put makeup on or do my hair hahaha. I don’t want to be looking a HOT MESS when he finally asks me to be his wife. I just need to go to counseling because this “waiting” period is sooo crazy and mentally consuming lol. Don’t you agree?
What are you guys obsessing about? 🙂

Yea, I wish I could get my nails done and make-up and hair and whatnot done too. But I guess I’ll be looking tip-top every day until he proposes, to be safe hahaha

@MissTX:I had those same thoughts!! When I knew the proposal was coming I was in the middle of a busy semester and I knew that I most likely was going to look like crap when he proposed. I started being sure I looked nicer on weekends lol, just in case. Turns out he propsed when I got home from work one day (wearing scrubs, nasty from day at the hospital) and I was so happy that it didn’t even matter! Almost makes it better for him to propose when you aren’t wearing makeup etc, shows he loves you just how you are! Try and relax and not think about it. ( I know that won’t happen though, because I was told that as well but honestly I regret being so anxious for a proposal because I would have been more surpirsed)

Oh no, I’m terrified of it. I constantly recount the hours in the day. I really need to sit and write it down.

AHAHAHA i literally was just thinking about that. My nails are almost always not nice. Hahah i hate taking the time. But we are going on vacation in 2 weeks and i will definitely make sure they are ok for that!! Just in case of course….

I worried about that too! Thankfully, my Fiance proposed on my 22nd birthday and I was dressed up really cute for the occasion!

I don’t remember if my nails were done. No one is going to be looking at your nails the day you get engaged, I promise. 🙂
Repeat after me: Perfect is boring.
I chased perfection for years in my 20s. Around 28 or so, I realized how utterly boring it is. Relax!

Do your nails!!
I think that since you know its coming, doing your nails can’t hurt. I think people do look at your nails when your showing the ring!

I am still obsessing with, what kind of wedding we will be having. Large, luxurious expensive wedding, small, casual backyard wedding, destination wedding with a party celebration at the house. Ugh!!!! I get headaches just thinking about it over and over and over and over. I would obsess about the little things too, but I have to get past what kind of wedding are we planning first.

I have the same worry. My nails are always looking rubbish, even when I do get them done I always chip them really quickly and to think that my mum is a beauty therapist!

Hahah this reminds me I should do my nails 😉 I usually have them done just in case, but I just painted a cabinet the other day and have paint splotches all over my nails, not proposal-worthy!
