Nope, there’s no age limit to bartending! (except being underage, of course.)

Do you mean a strip club though? I would not enjoy working there myself at all, but nothing to do with age related reasons.

It’s up to you. The service industry is hard work, and often the pay is not proportional to the work. So if you more or less like it there, I’d say stay with it. At least until you finish school (which i see is in the poll.)

Are you too old for strip club employment? NO!

    Finish School. YES!

C’mon, use your brain, make the cash, and scram..it’s really that simple.

@HisNightOwl2014:  the older I get the more I’m realizing that my life has gkt to be about makingy daya as happy and content as possible. That means not worryjng about what others may think of my job or my age or anythinf else that I’m the sole person responsible. I am currently contemplating a pretty serious pay cut just so I can be home more and more available to my family. When someone else volunteers to pay my bills and help raise my kids, then THEY can give me their opinion on what I do.

Do what YOU want to do. Whatever you feel will fit with your life and make you most content.

I think it depends on why you feel like you’re too old. I have a job on the complete other side of the spectrum- I do theatre for kids and play everything from 10-16 years old. I’m 35. I don’t necessarily feel old when I’m in the shows and apparently I still look young because the kids can’t even grasp me being as old as I am when they find out. BUT I’m exhausted!! I also work with people who are a lot younger and don’t always have the patience for them and some of the really simple issues that can become a big deal. And I realize 35 isn’t that old, but my body doesnt seem to handle the physical part of the job the same way. The thing is, I actually love the fact that I’m older & do what I do. I could move to a different department which most of the ladies my age do, but I just can’t seem to get myself to do it.

So I guess my point in all of this is, do you still enjoy what you do? It really doesn’t matter what other people think. Making good money is great, but being happy is most important! If you feel like its your best bet to get through school and its easy enough then stick it out if you can. But if you’re unhappy, maybe it is time to move on.
