That gown is entirely fine for someone who’s thirty 🙂  I’m planning on getting a full ball gown and doing a veil and will be just shy of 40 when it’s time to walk up the aisle.

@nonapkns: I’ve heard people say stupid stuff like that before and it’s obnoxious.  It would look crazy if you came out in a mini-skirt (like the model did in the November Rain video), but the dress you posted is gorgeous and I’m sure will look fantastic on you.

I do kind of think veils are silly but that has nothing to do with age.  Lol.  Do what YOU want to do.

Your family is just wrong. I’m 33 and wore a ballgown type dress and no one thought for one second that it was inappropriate. Wear what makes you happy. Seriously.

THIRTY is too old?!?!?!

What decade are they from?  Sheesh.

I agree with everyone else that there’s no age limit, and even if there was one, 30 wouldn’t be it!!!

30 is nowhere near too old to wear that dress!  Wear it and rock it – with a veil!

30 is too old WTH. I am 29 now and will just turn 30 when i get married next year. I had seen that dress online and really like it. Girl you are just leaving your 20s so i cant figure why someone would say that you are too old to wear a poofy dress and a veil.

Don’t let anyone ever tell you that 30 is too old for anything! Do what you want. That dress is appropriate and a veil is fine!

Many brides are in their early 30s! That dress is gorgeous and classic. You are totally not too old to wear it. I think it’s elegant without being disney princessy. Wear a veil if you like the way it looks– you should feel like a bride and no one should be telling you you shouldn’t!

@dynamic_duo: Oh, you’re totally welcome, girl.  I was totally thinking you were about 25 when I was looking at all of your recaps.  You look beautiful, by the way!  I absolutely loved all of your pics… purple is my favorite color, too!
