OMG 30 is so old just crawl in a hole and die now because your life is over.

Just kidding. So according to your family, “young” brides wear poof and “old” brides wear straighter skirts? Yikes! I was 22 on my wedding day and wore an old lady dress, then!

This post really surprised me! 30 is old? I think actually that a full A-line dress is elegant, timeless and actually suits most ages!

As all other PP’s have said- go with the dress you love! It is perfectly appropriate!!

@nonapkns:

Hey I am almost 30 but look 18years of age (no joke).  It would help if you posted a pictured of yourself.

Any who, go with what you love, and forget them sales ladies.  You please you and congratulations on your wedding

I actually love this dress you just posted, but you should go with the dress your heart desires.

And you should of course wear a veil!

30 is not at all old! I was almost 30 when we married (29 plus some months!) and this is what I wore, with a long veil! sorry for pic size!

Not at all!! I am 28 and will be one month away from 29 when I get married in July. I have the SaBelle and I also intend to wear a veil! It’s a beautiful classic dress and I LOVE it!! Get the dream dress you want.

Heh… I can blend in with the teens where I live EASILY.  Heck, even me in the gowns I tried on made me look WAY younger than what I am.

I’ll be 30 on my wedding day and…. my only concern is the make-up will make me look WAY too young (ok, maybe not a REAL concern, lol).  Of course, I also don’t look like I’ve had two kids (NO ONE BELIEVES ME!!!!!!)!

Wear what you want and enjoy it!

And there was a news article on CNN about a woman who is 98 who wore her wedding gown from 1938!  http://weirdnews.aol.com/2011/05/19/98-year-old-woman-wears-wedding-dress_n_864131.html#s272740&title=Cake_Shaped_Like

I’d say you can wear whatever gown ya want, no matter what age you are!!!!

My mom just got remarried at 63 and had a full on princess ball gown, tiara, gloves, big ol necklace and earrings, and a sparkly tiara.  We might have laughed at her a little but she was happy.

Plus you are still so young!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!??!?! Who the ‘eff’ is saying that to you?!?!

30 falls in the average age these bridal dresses cater to. And specfically Sabelle. It looks sophisticated. Good for ANY age, not just 30. And veil is a veil. There is no age limit. If you are marrying, put a veil on. IF you are not getting married, then don’t put one on at someone else’s wedding. Who is being so awful to you!? Tell them to think logically! BRIDES wear veils. Nothing related to age!

@nonapkns: Not too old! I tried this one on and loved it, too. (Though I ended up with a different one.)
