Yes, you are totally completely out of your MIND!

I wouldn't do it, but hey, it's your wedding!

If photography is your priority, then go for it!

    I would SO do this!

Not crazy.  We spent almost 1/4 of our budget on photography.  Along with food/booze, it was our highest priority.

After all is said and done, you’ll only have memories (and well, maybe your bouquet, dress, etc…). I say go for it, if it’s your priority!

If it is a priority and you want to cut back in other areas to make it work than I think you should go for it. After all when it’s all said and done you will have memories and photos.

If you can make it work in your budget then do it. Photography is going to be the visual way to remember your day, and you want it the way you want it. Dont spend money on a cheaper photographer if your not going to get the end result you want.

Did you originally plan on this amount for a photographer in your budget? You can always shift money around in other areas to compensate. In my opinion, a good photographer is one of the best “wedding splurges” you can make. After all… pictures are the only visual you’ll have to remeber the day! We splurged too, and I feel no guilt whatsoever!

How many people are you going to have at your wedding?  Depending on the number of people, maybe you could negotiate the price without the 2nd photographer?  Any photographer who is THAT good (I saw the website – awesome!) should be able to get fantastic shots without needing a 2nd photographer, unless you have an enormous guest list.  That should help cut the budget.   😉

As long as you keep an open mind about cutting down other places, go for it! =) I say never skimp on the photographer! xo

I saw the website/gallery.. oh yeah, I’d def. pay for it. Photography is a huge priority for me, as well. I say if you can make it work within your budget, then why not? ;]

Photography cost us about a third of our wedding budget, but it was so worth it! It was even about 500 more than our catering. lol

Photography was a huge chunk for me also, and a huge priority so I think that justifies it for me! I adore looking at photographs and can’t wait to finally get my hands on my album!!!
