I don’t think thats unusual. Your guests will know whose wedding they are at and what day it is LOL 🙂

@wabanzi:  nope. I think we had our names on the menu at the reception and on the program. My Maid/Matron of Honor made us a painting and put our date on that. I’ve never been a fan of monograms, etc. I think having names and dates everywhere is a passing trend.

I don’t think so. I am not changing my name so we won’t be plastering names everywhere at all. In fact the only thing that will have our wedding date on it at this stage is the ring bearer bowl I am going to make.

I don’t think our names/date will be on anything, now that I think about it. Other than the invitations. 🙂

To me it’s almost…. what’s the term I need here that’s not offensive…. ah, screw it… it’s too cutesy? I’m so sorry, I know some people are going to strongly disagree. It’s just a personal opinion. I’m too old for cutesy.

If I do programs (I haven’t decided yet) there will be a date on that.

If someone shows up that’s in the wrong place, I don’t think they’ll need the banner that says “Sue and Joe, it’s Oct 12!” to let them know. It will be all the complete strangers and woman in a big white dress that will give it away.

Not that I did this on purpose, but I don’t think our wedding date & names are even on one thing at the entire wedding.

I just don’t see the point, and there are very few printed things at our wedding (no programs or anything).
