it feels maybe slightly softer than normal paper… not at all smooth like vellum. It kind of has a texture to it.

Linen paper and vellum are about as far away from each other as you can get.  Sounds like she doesn’t really know what she’s doing.

Perhaps she sent the wrong sample. Linen and vellum are very different. Linen is opaque and vellum isn’t.

I love paper products… seriously… scrapbooker, paper cutting artwork, etc…  Vellum and Linen are nothing alike!  Vellum is normally a bit  see through.  It might even feel a bit like a piece of paper thin plastic… but not quite… on the other hand linen paper is fine paper that may have originally been made of flax like the fabric linen is made of… when I use linen paper for resumes it normally has a fabric like texture… of a crosshatching design.  Vellum isn’t normally wrinkly either, so whatever this paper is… it doesn’t sound like it’s a presentation that you like nor does she sound knowledgeable!
