Depending on the time and style of your wedding, this dress could be great for a MOB dress. I say, if shes comfortable in it, and loves it and it is appropriate for the type of wedding, let her wear it. Nobody is going to mistake her for the bride, and if she has the body for it, let her!

Hey, if your Mom wants to be the opening act for your wedding, let her…she’s the one who has to walk around in a dress that’s Go To Hell Red all day…

I’m not sure how you can approach it for maximum success… are you getting married in a church?  You could “blame” the pastor and say there’s no excessive cleavage allowed lol.

Seriously though, are you able to talk to her as a mom/daughter and tell her how uncomfortable this makes you feel?  Tell her that she’s gorgeous, and you think it’s a beautiful dress for any OTHER occasion, but you’d love to see her in something a little more conservative for your wedding.  Tell her you want all eyes to be on YOU, and you’d really love her support for that day.

OMG! That dress is gorgeous! Im jealous where is it from??:D

But in regards to your mom wearing the dress if it makes you guys uncomfortable then you should just tell her that.

I think its a beautiful dress and totally appropriate for a MOB if she has the figure for it.

buy her a nice shawl to go with it and let her have a good time, if that dress is her then thats her, you do have every right to ask her to change, maybe tell her to have a “ceremony dress/ Picture dress” then she can wear that one. she’ll be happy and so will you!

I can see why you’re a little upset, that dress has an extremely low cut.  Wow.  If I saw that I’d think she was attempting to upstage you.  Just a little.  Sealed
