I just find a seller I like and then browse through their “favorites”… chances are, if I like their style, I will like their faves!

Honestly? I just type what I want in the search bar and spend forever looking through the results until I find what I like. I’ve never had a problem with an etsy seller, even though I have used a bunch of different ones. Do you have anything in particular you need? That would help with any vendor recommendations 🙂

We used Etsy for our invites, and found an amazing vendor. I think what helped us is knowing the exact product we wanted, so we could narrow down the store options. And then we just scanned through dozens of stores, found a few that caught our eye, and looked at those in more detail. And made sure that the one we chose had a high number of positive reviews (not just the percentage but the number of reviews).

If you are looking for stationery, I highly recommend: http://www.etsy.com/shop/lvandy27. She was so quick to get back to us, flexible, and easy to work with. Our invitation suites came out beautifully and the price was very reasonable.

If I know I am looking for something specific, that helps a lot. Using the search feature to narrow things down by size, color, etc will definitely help you. That said, i’ve wasted many an hour on that site whittling down the options to my favorite sellers. I get the daily email from etsy as well – that introduces me to new sellers that are high quality that I then research, can see who has favorited them, and who else they favorited….leads you to new sellers. We got our wedding bands on etsy (Fabuluster!), and i’ve gotten a lot of great geeky things as well as great jewelry and accessories. Love. It.

I found pretty much all of my Etsy sellers by browsing the wedding section of Etsy, checking reviews/feedback, comparing products, then convoing with sellers to get customization etc.

Here are the ones I used and recommend:

For bouquets/bouts/corsages Hairbowswonderworld

For Bridesmaids jewellery AzureTreasures

For Garter PetreneDesign

For a Hostess gift – apron from apronqueen

For my bolero maryandangelika

For my cake topper thefunkyshack

If you have any questions about any vendors I used, feel free to pm me

I had Romantic Flowers (Kimberly Aurora Kapur) make my seashell bouquet and bout for our wedding.

Cannot say enough about how gorgeous it turned out.  She is amazing!

I’ll let you know how my invites go after I get them…in the process of getting details together since our wedding plans changed in the last two weeks.  My down payment to the Etsy designer is going to happen this week!

I did get some map cufflinks too, from an etsy designer but will try to log on later to remember who made them for my Fiance.  They’re amazing!

I’m purchasing another set, for the day of the wedding, with our reception site on one cufflink, and the city where we’ll marry on the other!  My son is getting little compass cufflinks for his suit.
