- Wedding: May 2010
I was aimlessly wandering the aisles of a huge paper warehouse here in LA when I asked the opinion of another shopper about 2 different papers. Turns out, she has a small printing company and does design work for wedding suites, special occasions, personal stationery etc. She also specializes in Jewish life events (bat mitzvahs, weddings, baby namings etc) so she’s great if you need help there too.
Anyway, she offered me some free help with my programs but since I had already planned them out myself, I took her card and didn’t think I would call her.
Then I went to work early to print out my invitations, inserts and RSVP cards and my work machine kept eating my card stock and refusing to print.
In a panic, I called Aviva. She invited me to her office to do my printing and cutting, charging me only $10 and a cup of coffee. She not only helped me print everything on her high quality machines, she helped with some spacing issues and then proceeded to cut all of my inserts for me. We’re inviting over 200 people to the wedding, so this was not a small number of prints and cuts.
She was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond for a total stranger. She showed me some of her other work and I would totally recommend her to anyone.
If you live in Los Angeles (she is in the Venice/Santa Monica area) and would like her contact information, just send me a message
