I’m not American so I think it’s tacky, but it seems to be a very American thing to do (I always see so many people wearing clothing adorned with the American flag pattern every time I’m in the U.S. And there’s nothing wrong with being proud of your country) and you said it suits you both and you really love the idea so do it!!!!  I vote for the first pair of boots

ADemby1:  I think yes definitely tacky. I don’t really like cowboy boots though, but I’ve seen some thay I’ve thought were cute for a wedding for someone else. If you want to wear boots, I’d say find a cuter pair, maybe a bit more feminin since you are doing a vintage rustic theme.

I vote tacky. But as a Brit, I don’t get an obsession with the flags.

I think it’s tacky, too. However, I think you should reconsider mostly because your fiancé is going to be in his formal mess dress. Of course wedding gowns are formal too 99% of the time, but you should really be dressing to the same…standard, shall we say?

ADemby1:  Hmmmm…I have to say that I do find them tacky. I do love things with the American flag – scarves and certain purses…but I’m not liking the boots. If you were to wear a more traditional cowboy boot, I’d say go for it! I can’t give a thumbs up to those two styles, though. Sorry!!!

I am going to be the minority here… GO FOR IT! Where I am from, everyone wears their boots with their wedding dress! I like the ‘Merica boots, but BF hates them :(. If I had to pick between the two, I would also go with the first pair. The second pair are Corrals, I have a pair and I LOVE them, but when I wear mine for very long (especially for dancing) my feet are sore for days!

I’m in the minority here, but I vote CUTE. I love the first pair. Rock ’em, girl. I personally love your Murica theme.

If I could, I’d wear cowgirl boots to my wedding, but it wouldn’t fit in. :-/ I’m slightly disappointed. But I’m the type that would wear cowgirl boots with everything if I could!

I love the  first boots, with the red and white stripe, white star, and blue foot.  Next paycheck I might buy some for myself haha. they’re cute.  It’s a wedding you could wear emo style combat boots under your dress if you wanted and no one would know.

I think cowboy boots alone scream “America!!” Without having a flag emblazoned on them. FoR that reason I vote tacky and would just wear plain boots.

I am wearing boots too so I say go for it!  IF it fits your style then why not, it’s your wedding.

My boots are Corral and I had to break them in really, really good for them to be comfortable for extended periods.

Tacky in my opinion. And anything described as ” ‘Merica” screams redneck and tacky to me. But that’s because it’s not my style AT ALL. I hate the whole boots under the dress trend all together though too so my opinion might not be valid.

But if you feel it’s right for you, go for it.

Why did “Born in the USA” come on the satelite radio here at work when I clicked on this post?  that is a sign! Yes, the first ones are my choice if you are dead set on wearing flag boots but I do like the PP bridal boots pics better.
