I am having a ring made by David Klass and I need to puchase the center stone. I am between a 2.87 ct E VVS2 Amora Gem Eternity or a 3.5 ct D-F VVS Moissaniteco H and A stone. THe Moissaniteco stone is also about 200 dollars cheaper han the Amora.
Which would you choose?

From what I’ve seen in pictures, it seems like the cut on the Amora eternity is much much more defined than the moco h and a. I personally like that it’s more defined. I’d choose the amora.

Moissaniteco.. I think the Amora gem creators can be a little dodgy especially with their releases.. vague information, no one ever knowing what is going on, setting dates and then not even remotely sticking by them.. on the basis of stuffing their customer around, I don’t even want to imagine what it is like to deal with them.. I say moissaniteco.

I have a cushion amora gem, so I would personally go for the AG. Yes, they’re hard to get and BTD can’t keep up with demand, but if you can get your hands on one- I think they’re worth it.

I’d pic the moissaniteco hearts and arrows because I’m not a fan of the new way the Amora gem is cut. However I used to have an E color Hearts and arrows from moissaniteco and it was so extremely white that it almost had a blue tint like whiter than a D color diamond if that’s even possible, which is one of the reasons I sold it. So I highly recommend going with near Colorless, they look beautiful and realistic without being stark white, and are probably closer to the color of an actual F color diamond.

I don’t know if you can really go wrong with either option.
Whatever you choose, please post pictures so we can all be better informed!
I lean towards the Amora Gem (Which I have personally purchased and looove) only because I find the brilliant cut C&C Moissanites to bee too discoball-ee. However, it seems that the H&A cut (at least from the videos I have watched) seem to chill it out a bit.
