    jamiegrego:  Hello! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Wink CZ (which btw is an AMAZING company, highly suggest them)

    2.01 Carat

    Ring Size 7.25

    G/VVS2

Pros: It’s gorgeous! I love that I got to pick my individual stone.

Cons: Really the only one I have is that it’s SO difficult to photograph. In person, it looks 1,000,000 times better than it does in the pictures.

Do you want an Amora for financial concerns? If so, how about looking online for a second-hand diamond ring? Idonowidont.com, for instance.

I honestly hated the F/ VS2 that I had ordered last year and sent it back as soon as I saw it. It looked like a fake diamond to me. Alternatively, how about a colored gemstone? Sapphires make beautiful engagement rings, and you can get different colors and hues (although white sapphires become quite dull and need constant cleaning)and won’t break the bank.

jamiegrego:  I’ve had my Amora for just about 2 months and absolutely love her:

    *Purchased at Amora-gems.com.

    *1.5ct on the nose.

    *F coloured and VS1

*This is on a size 8.75-9 finger.

*Pros- There are a lot of pros for me with the Amora gem that I got. It was of course a lot cheaper for the size I got, it was cheaper than getting the F1 moissanite from the U.S. because the price isn’t that much of a difference and the imports to the UK made it more expensive. And personally for me I always preferred the Amora of the F1 but that is my preference. My whole ring cost around £1k and that included custom setting, my Amora gem and shipping and taxes.

Not only can you choose the carat weight but also the dimensions of the gem. They’re like diamonds where you will have some more deeper cut than others and others will face up larger than others with the same carat weight. Something to keep in mind when choosing.

The clarity on them does not matter at all, if you are after just eye clean. All of them are considered eye clean, so you can buy an SI and it will be clean to the eye. You can save quite a bit of money lowering th clarity and colour, I didn’t see the point in paying the extra premium.

Getting to choose the actual colour.

It’s white but not too white, mine doesn’t have a blue tint. Max you see of it ever is in photos, not reality.

Its most diamond like but is beautiful in its own right. It does sparkle and have more fire than a diamond. Personally with mine it rarely does rainbow sparkle. I love how she is a chameleon of sorts where she shows off different parts of her beauty in different settings and light.

Amoras are forever stones and have close hardness to diamonds.

*Cons- The main con I think is getting an Amora gem in the size and stats that you want because they can be limited at times. Though when I got mine I didn’t have to really wait, Amora-gems.com stocks the lower colours in good sizes pretty frequently. They don’t have them in your size right now in that colour but it most likely won’t be long, over the past several months I have seen loads around those stats come and go. When I chose mine I had my pick from several.

From my understanding another con is if you get a higher colour like a D or E some find it too white. Icy white that it hints blue. But that can vary from gem to gem and a persons preference.

Its lack of fancy shapes. If Amora did a heart shape I would no doubt save and buy it! Lol.

lemondrop528:  is right about the con she mentions. Photos and videos do not do the gem justice, even more beautiful in person, so if you think they are amazing in photos and videos you would most likely be dazzled away with one in person.

jamiegrego:  I sold my amora gem ultra but I figured I could still answer your questions to help you out!

    Purchased from Winkcz.com

Actual carat weight is 1.58, diamond equivalent weight is 1.65

    Ring size is a 3.5

    Color is G

Clarity is si1, after thinking it was a vs1 for over a year, when I went to sell it I got the certificate back out and realized it said si1. However it was 100% eye clean and even clean under a loupe. The amora I originally wanted to buy was a Vs1 so I think that’s where I got mixed up. Clarity really doesn’t make a difference with these stones since they are all eye clean.

Pros/cons- cheaper than a diamond, has the hearts and arrows cut, looks more diamond like than moissanite in my opinion. It’s available in D-H colors and in many different carat weights. Cons would be, that even though the fire is not as intense as moissanite is that it still has way more rainbow sparkle than a diamond would especially under artificial lighting. It can take on a plastic like appearance at times and look too perfect.

The amora gem is definitely a gorgeous stone in its own right. And it looks alot better in person than in pictures.

I don’t have one but I started a thread about the and got some great responses!

The amora gem looks more similar to the tradition diamond cut with its hearts and arrows. The only thing I have heard is make sure the depth isn’t greater than 62.5% because then the arrows will look too pronounced and dark.

MrsSparkleBee13:  can you show her your first amora the was too deep?

Before the cons about the amora was color but the forever one has taken care of that. However, the cut is less diamond like it looks like “crushed glass” I have heard. But is more disco ball like in the light whixh is beautiful!

Good luck bee. I went with a forever one cushion because they have the sizes I want right now. I didn’t know when the amora would be restocked.

Where you purchased it – better than diamonds

    Carat size – 1.0

    Ring size – 5

    Color/Clarity – H, SI1

Pro-durable, diamond like, sparkles beautifully. I really like it and with the specs I was able to get it for $500. I tried a FB moissanite and hated the warmth and rainbow sparkles. It looked horrible to me. I believe that any diamond Sim looks better in a halo as its surrounded by metal and other diamonds, I would doubt that I would like my stone as much with a solitaire.

    Cons- none really.
