It can definitely get confusing, especially with Amora moissanite sharing a name with Amora Gem.  Not sure whose idea that was…

Anyway, to answer your question, Amora moissanite and Forever Brilliant moissanite are both enhanced moissanite.  They are two different enhancements, with Amora generally regarded as being whiter.  I have a Forever Brilliant and haven’t seen Amora in person, so I can’t speak to the difference in whiteness.  As for my FB though, I will say that 99% of the time, it looks totally white.  On a cloudy day, and occasionaly from the side, I can see a little warmth, but truly, it’s minimal.  I imagine with the Amora, that would be even less so.

Here are some pics of my FB (7mm round brilliant cut).  The first is what it looks like most of the time, and the second two show a) the slight warmth I see from the side and b) what it looks like at its worst in the car on a rainy day.  The last picture is just to show you how beautiful the rainbow sparkles are!

I have a forever brilliant OEC and mine is very white. The only time I ever see any warmth at all is in my jeep that has beigh interior. Even then it’s not green, yellow, gray etc.. it looks slightly off white but still gorgeous.

The bottom picture is in my jeep and is the warmest I’ve ever seen it. Oec’s show more color so a round brilliant will be whiter

Amora moissanite  and FB moissanite are both enhanced moissanite, with a similar process.  I would personally just get a hand selected FB moissy.  The FB moissy are in more pentiful supply and available in all cuts without a waitist.  The Amora are basically just rounds, maybe some cushions… but you need to be on a waitlist.  And from the stones I have seen out there lately, the hand selected FBs have better cuts.

Amora gem is a different form of SiC and looks a bit different than moissy, but is very white.  It costs more too.

I have a 1.25ct (7mm) fb round that is colorless the majority of the time. I only see warmth on cloudy days and none of that green tinge that some people have seen before. The diamonds in my setting are F-G and I can’t really tell the difference in color.

Does anyone know if FB stones have been improved in the last 2 years? Cause I remember hearing about unenhanced stones being improved/whiter about a year ago or something
