People will literally hate on Amy Schumer for anything she does. The comments on her latest movie trailer seriously depleted my faith in humanity.
I think her ring is beautiful. She is most likely around a size seven anyways so it’s not even that “small.” Probably close if not a little more than 1ct.

It’s considered small in Hollywood.

Good for her. Honestly, who cares? She looks super happy and that’s all that matters. I wore a stand in 2ct CZ from Claires for a week while my 1ct was getting serviced and I knocked it on EVERYTHING and couldn’t wait to take it off when I got home. It was beautiful but totally impractical for my lifestyle. I bet she’s more into comfort and utility than glamour, and who cares? Those people making comments are being pretty childish.

It looks like a very normal ring to me. Thing I’m surprised by: just googled, and apparently they got married after only 3 months of dating!?

It’s quite sad that our culture has morphed to “shame” people who don’t have 3 ct + diamonds. So ridiculous.

As someone who did not make the selection of my ring based on budget, but on what I wanted, this is just ridiculous.
If you are always associating bigger as better, and wanting more than you have, you must be a very unhappy and petty person.

safe to assume that if amy wanted a honker she would have gotten one. Good for her!

I remember reading an online article from some celeb gossip rag that was listing the best and worst celeb enagement rings, and of course many of the “worst” rings were called out for being small. For example, they criticized Amy Adams’ ring for being “only” 1 carat (how do they even know that??).

” She does not seem like the type of person who would want
a large ring.” Agree!
She also doesn’t seem like the kind of person to even care if she has a big ring. Amirite?
LOL, I think Amy Schumer gives about 2 shits about the size of her diamond and what others think of it. YAy! AMY!!! Rock it girl!!

People are so shallow obviously their relationship is more important to them than a ring

I think joke is on usmagazine, because I truly feel like a “fad” of smaller engagement rings is on the horizon. Also, I don’t mind that magazines want to talk about such stuff – fine. But at least get writers who actually have some knowledge about jewelry? They are embarrassing themselves.

I don’t think anyone should be shamed for a ring they love. Its about what the person likes and the sentiment behind getting a ring from the person you love and want to marry.
Just because she is a celebrity and probably has a good deal of money doesn’t mean she is REQUIRED to be given something that is like 50 carats and a gazillion dollars. Also, who says SHE picked it out, maybe it was her husband that did. People act like its her fault she has the ring she has. We don’t know how she got her ring..
Plus, who cares what someone else gets? That doesn’t affect anyone else. Rolls Eyes

Bet she cares a rat’s recumbant rectum too. SUCH NONSENSE!

I’m glad I’m not famous or a celebrity. I’d go bonkers with people judging my every move, thought or action.
