One centerpiece flanked by candelabras. It's cheaper and it'll look really romantic. : (5 votes)

Two centerpieces with a small something in between and on either side. The extra $ is worth it. : (0 votes)

Just based on a mental picture, I think 12′ would be pretty long to have only one tall centrepiece in the middle…

Have you done a mock up of both options? It might help you gauge whether or not it would look right… what if you did votive candles/something cheaper along the rest of the table, just to give the other end-of-the-table guests something in front of them?

I’m not the most “decor-savvy” Bee, but I will tell you we had long tables like that and did have two centerpieces per table because of the long length. Good luck in figuring it out! 🙂

I would almost do three smaller centerpieces. You ALWAYS want an odd number in decorating. Maybe you could reduce the size and cost of your original tall centerpiece and do 3 smaller versions for the same price?
