majorairhead: Thanks so much! It was a great anniversary. I’m still super excited about my ring re-do. I can’t get over how much difference such a small change made. (Although I sound like a broken record because I keep saying this — ha, ha!) I guess it’s because I thought about doing it for such a long time.
The bracelet is such fun. I love it, and it goes with everything. I love the name Naga! What a great name for a dog! Have you guys watched any of the Legend of Korra show? I haven’t seen any of it, but I loved Avatar: The Last Airbender.
KeeKalena: Thanks so much! It’s kind of shocking to think Darling Husband and I have been married for 17 years. In many ways, I still feel like a newlywed. But I guess that’s a good thing. It must mean we are happy together.

longtimemrs: I pray Darling Husband and I can last long in our marriage as well! Time flies when you spend it with the one you love!

Yes- we watched the whole series. Loved it! Even better than The Last Airbender. You r the only other adult I have encountered who knew about the Avatar stories! ( everyone else always assumed I was talking about the movie with the blue alien people ) my dog is 110 pound Anatolian Shepherd so she really does look like a polar bear dog!

longtimemrs: majorairhead: I have the complete Avatar series on DVD. I’ve only seen a couple of Korra episodes because I can never seem to catch it on TV.

KeeKalena: You are so right about that! I am sure you and your Darling Husband will be together and happy for many, many years to come.
majorairhead: I’m all about anime and animated art, and have been for years and years. I’m one of the few people I know in real life (not counting “friends” I made via the internet when I was collecting production art, which is a totally nutty hobby. lol) who still watches cartoons — ha, ha!
This makes me want to find the Korra series so that I can watch it. I loved Last Airbender so much and am generally very character-driven about the shows I watch. So I wasn’t sure I could love a show that didn’t have the characters I had grown fond of in it. I have heard nothing but fantastic things about it, though. (I never saw the blue people Avatar movie — lol. It never appealed to me.)
Your dog sounds amazing!
KeeKalena: Did you like what you saw of Korra? I’m thinking I’m going to have to hunt this series up to watch. Right now, I’m in the midst of watching Bleach. I’m around episode 200-something, but taking a bit of a break. So another series would be a good thing right now — lol.
Robyn0214: Thank you so much! I was thrilled that the jeweler was able to get sapphires that were such a pretty and vivid blue, especially for small stones. They really look blue (as opposed to black) in the ring. Not that there is anything wrong with black stones. I love those, too. But blue is my favorite color, and the sapphires are DD’s birthstone.
ppresto: Thank you, thank you! Changing out those tiny stones really made a huge difference in the ring to me. I love that description: “fresh” — it’s the perfect way to explain it!

longtimemrs: I did like what I saw of Korra and I will watch the whole series eventually. I watched Bleach when I was younger and didn’t get to finish it!! I also need to finish Naruto. I also just recently watched Attack on Titan and I finished the first season in less than a week!
