On Friday, May 4th, we hosted our closest friends & family for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Our final headcount was 28.
It was close to 100 degrees that afternoon as we did our first look, but as guests arrived for the ceremony the temperature dropped and the sun began to set. As cocktail hour began, the lawn was fully shaded and a comfortable temp.

The cup says “I’m getting married, bitches!”
I love this guy:
Bouquet: I picked these colors to match what was planted in the garden where we had our ceremony:
Can you spot something blue?
I have so many images, this is just the tip of the iceburg.

You look so happy and pretty! Congrats!! : )
I’m really curious, did you guys dance? How did guests keep themselves “entertained”? I ask because I’m having an intimate affair too. I am expecting around 28-30 guests and it seems perfect, but I can’t help but be a little nervous about how it will “feel”.

@LuluInLove: We hired an acoustic guitar player to play thru cocktail hour & dinner. We did not want, or plan, to dance. We booked a small room so there would not be a dance floor. But after dinner our guitar guy insisted we have a first dance… He played an Elvis song, I think? And we danced.
We had only planned for everything to last 3 hours, so we weren’t too worried about people “entertaining” themselves… All of our guests were happy to mingle & chat for a few hours, then call it a night. Everyone knew this was an intimate dinner, not a blow-out party.

Awwwww, thanks everyone.
@Pearberry: my shoes are Vera Wang, Lavendar line. They are from a previous season, I found them at Last Call by Neiman Marcus. They were actually really comfy. I may dye them a darker color so I can wear them again.
