I know I worry too much. But at the scan I know the tech did not comment too much about our baby. She took measurements and looked at the organs and explained what she was looking at but she would say ‘looks good’ sometimes, and sometimes she wouldn’t say anything. Which I understand is the what they are supposed to do. Its been more than a week and everytime I call they still dont have my results. Is no news good news? The baby looks normal in the pictures but I cant help but worry because the head looks big haha
Does anyone have more info on this? Thanks!!

My scan was about the same. She didn’t say a whole lot but to explain what we were looking at. MY OB gave me the results at my next appointment. I would call you OB or wait until your next appointment.

I would imagine your OB would go over it with you. I was fortunate enough to see my OB directly after having my ultrasound so we went over everything right away. I wouldn’t worry until you talk to your doctor.

No news is generally good news since a radiologist will do a wet read within 24 hours and if there is a suspected major abnormality seen by the US tech. In that case you would generally receive a call with results or setting up an emergency appointment within 48 hours. However that is not to say that no results after 48 hours means there are no problems.
You can call in but a nurse probably won’t give you any more information without an appointment with the doctor anyway.

Thanks. I honestly need to ‘chill-out’. I was so nervous about the whole thing. I read too much online and then scare myself out. I called yesterday and they didnt have good news for me. Baby has a cyst on the left kidney. I looked up information and it could go away on its own. I’m staying positive. My Darling Husband says its not serious since they didnt even call me to tell me, I could’ve just waited for my next appointment in 3 weeks to find out. Dr wants to do a level 2 ultrasound to look at it closer.

@loveknows: Hang in there. I know it will be hard to wait until the next level ultrasound. Try not to goggle too much! Sending positive thoughts your way
