hey bees. please excuse my punctuation and grammar in advance, my phone wont let me capitalize letters or add punctuation other than commas or periods. anyways, i hope this isnt offensive to my lgbtq bees, i only ask out of sheer curiousity. if you and your so are not cbc, how do you decide who will carry yalls child, if you arent adopting or using a surrogate of course. i was just watching the kids are alright, and while the wives had 1 kid each, i was just wondering how it works for various real life couples. how did yall come to the decision of who would bear the babies?

obviously, this varies with every lesbian couple. For us, I’ve always wanted to have a child (but could never find a boyfriend who I could picture parenting with! hmmm)
now that I have the right partner, we’re married, and both nearing our mid-thirties- I feel like I will never be MORE ready than I am right now.
We only very recently found our donor through knowndonorregistry.com, and we will begin TTC this winter. so for us, there was never a question of who would carry, since she had NO inclination to carry but wants to be a parent, and I’m exciting for the experience.
