I read somewhere that anywhere around the 6 month mark if people are seeing someone or maybe it was if they have dated for six months that you should consider them as needing a date even though you originally had them on your list as single.
Anyway my question is, what are your thoughts on extending this plus one? Some of my friends have started seeing people/being in a relationship. I may not ever meet these people and I dont know if in 2 months they will be together when I address the invites. but in an ettiquette way is it really polite to do so?
The plus ones we have agreed on are for people that dont know anyone else, those in the bridal party and then those that have been in long term relationships.
I don’t really want to include guests for these friends, but would it look bad if I didnt? Esp. if it’s a really new thing and I won’t even know them…
