I was without my ring for month or so while it had to be resized, so I know the feeling! At least you’ll have something pretty to keep your finger company til you get it back 🙂

@orchidaloha:  lol i bought a $10 ring from walmart to wear for 2 weeks while my ring was getting re-tipped. this was durin the summer so i had a tan line where my ring was. i didnt want to walk around with a tan line…. that would get people talking. only bad thing was my cheapy ring turned my finger green lol.

@orchidaloha:  Oh, I thought you were going to say you lost it!! I’m so glad that isn’t the case. I had to get my ring resized and it felt terrible to be missing it for a week – it was like part of my finger was missing! At least you have a replacement for now though – I didn’t even think about doing that.

my ering was delayed in being ready and FI asked if he could proposed without a ring.

i was perfectly ok with that.

my mom on the other hand thought i needed something to wear on my finger. she gave me her engagement ring that she still had for me to wear until my ering arrived. her ering was a CZ because she didn’t want a diamond or really a ring at all.

@orchidaloha:  I agree – I really like the symbol being there. I’m proud of my man and proud of being married. I know the relationship isn’t any less legit without a ring, but I just like it. I barely notice it when it’s on, but I sure notice it when it isn’t. I would devestated if I lost my ring (and I am clumsy enough to do exactly that), so my solution is to never take it off. When it had to get sized, I was a very sad bee, lol.
