Just another update.
They placed the temporary crown today. My new dentist is fantastic, compassionate, empathetic… everything I would want in a dentist. He was so good to me.
On the 16th (4 days before the wedding), I’ll get my permanent crown AND a much-needed dental cleaning. Looks like I’ll have some sparkly clean teeth for those wedding pictures 😉

@inky_1: dental hygienist here 🙂 i haven’t read all the posts so i’m sorry if i repeat anything. if i were you, i would have it taken care of asap. it may not be hurting you now but that could change at any time! not sure if you’re going on a honeymoon but the last thing you’d want is to be miserable with nerve pain while you’re away! or on your wedding day! they might be able to do a temporary fix to ensure the nerve is protected and have you come back after your wedding for permanent work. nowadays, anaesthetics are so strong that standard procedures like RCT and crowns are no big deal 🙂 they should take good care of you!
ETA: just read your update… i really should do that before posting 🙂 Glad to hear it all worked out and you found a great Dentist!!! yey! good luck with the wedding.

@mu_t: lol thanks for the comments anyway 🙂 I was definitely not going to wait any longer than til Monday; I was just worried that waiting from Saturday night – Monday morning might be a problem, but it all worked out.
And I have to say — good dental hygenists & dentists are hard to find; I’ll be holding onto mine!!
