On July 21st I married my honey. 😀
Enjoy some pics!
We were really worried about the weather (it had been horrible the previous few weeks) but it was absolutely perfect! Pretty fans anyway. 🙂
The polaroid guestbook
The table “numbers”… we love being nerds!
I made cupcake stands. (Before they got smeared with icing) I was proud of my craftiness, if I do say so myself.
Never get married without your lint brush!
As we were riding away, we said “Wow, that was a great wedding. I can’t believe it was ours!” Thanks bees for all your inspiration/ideas/support/etc!

@jpalm13: We found clear ornaments and stuffed the little beads and flowers inside. It was cool, except we broke a lot!

- Wedding: August 2013 - Brookfield Zoo
Lovely!! The details are so pretty, and you both look so happy!! Were the fans you gave for the ceremony also programs, or were they just regular foldout fans? Congratulations!!

@MrsTVLover: Yes! Wasn’t it a great find?
@Jer72: I used styrofoam blocks glued between regular cake stands, and added some ribbon and wrapping paper. I found the tutorial somewhere on this site, don’t remember where.

I really like the reference to the Hunger Games! I am including the Hunger Games by adding a Hunger Games pin to the brooch0 bouquet that I made.
The fans are also wonderful! Congrats!

@elysion: They were regular fold-outs. I was going to make program fans, but we ended up having a really short ceremony so we didn’t bother. We were quick to cut out anything we didn’t feel like buying or making!
@JKaitlin: Cool idea! All my friends know I’m an obsessive fan of Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Narnia, so I loved throwing them in there. 🙂
