- Wedding: April 2010
Here’s a teaser photo from our amazing photographer:
By the way, for all you brides getting married in NYC, there is only one best choice for photographer, and that must be Gulnara. She makes us feel so comfortable and so beautiful the whole day. And she captures all the most natural moments. I never once felt a camera on my face, and I truly believed at that time (even if I now know it’s not true lol) that I was the most beautiful bride on the planet. She just gives me so much confidence and joy. And with a nomination for a Pulitzer, she’s guaranteed to be the best documentary photographer out there.
Also, my other awesome vendor – which we all know already – Christine Viola of Exquisite Affairs Production. She took everything from scratch and made it into something beautiful. I ordered flowers online (budget constraints), delivered them to her brown and unopened the morning of the wedding, along with a case of vases – and voila, here comes centerpieces. The reception was really really beautiful. I just can’t say enough good thing about how that girl went above and beyond for my wedding.
The weather was perfect – we were able to hold the ceremony outside in NYC in early April, which is kind of unheard of. The guests all say the food was amazing. I couldn’t eat much myself and can’t remember what I ate.
It was just all so beautiful. I wore my hair up as the bees advised. Thank you bees for being there for me in the past few months. And good luck to all of you in the months ahead! And with all the stress of planning right now, trust me, it’s all worth it in the end. Every second of it. It was, without doubt, the happiest day of my life.
