I totally considered a champagne (light gold) dress.  In the end I chose ivory and green for cost reasons.  Congratulations on finding the one!

I was actually considering a floor length, one shouldered, silk taffeta Vera Wang in a chocolate brown :-). Wound up with white; who cares? You’re the bride; if you feel like the bride, it will be so overwhelmingly beautiful to everyone else.

I’m totally a fan of wearing dresses that aren’t white or ivory. I went the ivory route, but I was open to everything.

Pics, pics, pics!

I love non-traditional wedding dresses. Offbeat Bride showcases lots of weddings with unusual dresses. Gotta love that site…

wow! that’s awesome!
I’ve seen dresses that are green, red, blue & light pink! I’m a traditionalist on some things for the wedding & the dress is one of them! I personally have to go with white!

I was tempted to wear red and have my bridesmaids in white. But… I didn’t. 🙁 Still love my dress though

That’s beautiful!! I love that.

Mine’s ivory, but on the whiter side. Maribel by Christos.

Yay, I love champagne and ivory wedding dresses! (And Chicago weddings too, PomPom!)

I’ve posted my dress elsewhere but I love it, so here it is again:
