Love Pippa. My kitty’s name is Felix, so I’m more partial to Max.

What’s your due date? I’m due in September too. We are keeping names a secret and not finding out the gender. ๐Ÿ™‚

My top name choices if I had my baby today (and Darling Husband had no say!) would be:

Adaline, Coralie, Emmaline

Daniel, Rowan, Henry

Darling Husband and I have trouble agreeing on names, so Dirty Delete will not have any of those girl names!

If Darling Husband had no say,

for a boy: Henry, Leo, or Colin…

and for a girl: Kathryn, Stella, or Christine.

(Fortunately, Darling Husband and I like the same girls’ names, but we do NOT agree on any boys name thus far. LOL).

Darling Husband likes Kathryn, but for a boy wants Jackson or William.

I’m due in July and we’ve pretty much selected a girls name… it’s the boys names that are so tricky. I think we’ve subconsciously put off the name talk til we find out what we’re having.

I like Maxwell and Viviane

Is it bad that I have been thinking about this LONG before I was even pregnant?  I want to talk names now, but Darling Husband is all, “Dude, we have a long time to talk about this, I don’t want to do it yet.” Arggh! Why not?! haha probably because one time we did talk baby names when we were engaged, we couldn’t agree on one to save our lives, especially for boys.

My top picks:

Boy:  Caleb James, Henry Douglas, or Ryan William (Middle names = DH’s Dads, my Dad’s, and DH’s middle name, in that order).

Girl:  Hayley Jo, Hayden Jo, or Riley Jo (Jo is my middle name, my mother’s middle name, and my Grandma’s name, so gotta stick with it ๐Ÿ˜› )

I’m due in June and we’ve agreed on Luke for a boy or Nora for a girl, we’re team green so we will be waiting until June to find out which name it will be.

Our top three picks were

Boy: Luke, Nathaniel, Caleb

For a girl we never really had top picks, I would throw out names and Darling Husband would say oh that’s nice or no I don’t like it. When I said Nora, and told him I couldn’t get it out of my head, he said he liked it and agreed we could name our little one that if it’s a girl.

I actually love your choice names. I really don’t think you could go wrong.

I’m white and my Fiance is Japanese (we aren’t pregnant but I plan  A LOT) we want:

Nathan Kai for a boy

and

Saya Alexis for a girl

I like the fact that both names have a bit of each culture in them without being impossible to say or spell. ๐Ÿ™‚

@UK Bride:  Pfft. I don’t know. I may end up letting him choose the first name for our future son…but I definitely do not want William. ;p

@UK Bride:  I’m due the 17th too! Okay, I’ll tell my secret names since I don’t know anyone here IRL. We decided before we TTC. Hadley Jane for a girl (Hadley for Hemingway’s first wife and Jane for my grandma). For a boy, we like Carter, Tate, and Cooper. Darling Husband loves Carter (we grew up watching ER), but it is SO popular now. I prefer Tate. Cooper is another one we like, but we think it sounds a little too trendy and makes us think of a chicken coop. I think that one will be ruled out eventually. I have a really popular name myself, so we are trying to be original but not crazy unique.

By The Way, we are set on Neil for a boy’s middle name (for DH’s grandpa).
