I would have loved to go to this wedding. I think it’s great the bride got her fairy tale wedding including her vision of the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.

@peachacid:  Because people like Disney?

I don’t really like the costumy look of all the girls in princess dresses, but I did like what the bride did that made her look say, but not scream, Ariel. I think it could it could be really fun to do this, but more subtly.

The best part of that wedding is the fact that the flower girl is tinkerbell.

@chasesgirl:  No, I think it has nothing to do with liking Disney.  They’ve been brainwashed by the military-industrial complex.

@chasesgirl:  this is a little over the Top. No one was making fun or being mean spirited. Those dresses are awkward on grown women. That’s just a fact. The OP simply posted a link to a popular website. calm down.

@TheFutureMrsNguyen:  I just find a bunch of grown women making fun of the obviously happy choice of a fellow person to be in poor taste.

I would actually have loved it even more if the bridesmaids were dressed as different sea creatures.

Just the way I think.

I too can see where it’ll be just a matter of time before The Mods remove this post.

But in the meantime I have to do the right thing, and defend this person’s choice to have the Wedding of their dreams…

Some of us have BIG Pouffy White Family Weddings that cost a ton of money – some of us have quaint backyard affairs – some of just jet off (or drive off) to far away Destinations – some of us drop in on the local courthouse… – and come choose to have fantasy Weddings with costumes – or marry while doing something adventurous (like sky-diving)

Now costumes aren’t necessarily MY THING (and this one is pretty mild by some that I’ve seen in the past)…

BUT I sure as H#LL am going to defend people’s right to choose to marry as they like (wait isn’t that an ongoing national debate on Human / Civil Rights in some countries ???)

So ya, it might not be how I would want my own Wedding

(Having now had both a Pig Pouffy White Family Wedding the first time… and a Destination Elopement this time round… lol, but then again, I’ve only been married 2x… who knows what I might do for # 3, # 4, # 5 or # 6 ?  Saying that strictly because I gave 6 choice above)

I mean at 80, I might want to try something radically different.

😉 *wink*
