I use MyFitnessPal. I Love it. It’s for food tracking, but you can add it in your work outs as well. I’ve also heard the C25K app is good (if you are planning on doing Couch to 5K)

@PitBulLover:

+1. I was using this but it’s a lot of work to track everything. You need to be committed.

I agree… MyFitnessPal, but as was said, you really need to commit. And be honest. That’s a toughie!

MyFitnessPal is AH-MAZING! I have lost 10 pounds in a month by following the calorie plan set for me. You do have to really commit though. It is hard but SO worth it!!

I use Sparkpeople.com because I love it! They have an app as well so I use that for tracking everything.

I also use My Fitness Pal and its amazing. I’ve lost 20 pounds using it and I’ve been able to keep it off. I still have another 5-10 I want to lose. Like the other ladies have said you do have to commit. I log EVERYTHING that goes in my mouth. Even if its a diet coke which has zero calories. I also use it to log my daily exercise, its been a great help. =]

MyFitnessPal is awesome! I also love CardioTrainer because you can track any walking you do with their GPS thing and it logs your calories and distance. I walk to work every day, so it’s nice to have a history of what I’ve done. But definitely suggest MFP! Once you get into the habit of tracking, it’s not even that much work (esp. with a phone app). And it’s handy at restaurants, because you can type something in and see the calories to make an informed decision.

It’s true that MFP does take commitment. I’ll admit I haven’t kept up with it recently. But it’s a really good program/app to use.

I was using  “Lose it” which is really easy to use, but there seems to be a bigger community on Myfitnesspal. So i’m going to give that a try again!

I’ve used My Fitness Pal, too. In fact, I need to re-commit myself to it. It’s a great app and allows you to easily log your food and exercise. You can set your weight loss goal and it will automatically adjust your calorie/exercise goals for you.

Like PPs have said, MyFitnessPal is really good.
