Has anyone gone with Ann Taylor bridesmaid dresses? If so, what did you think about them?
I am currently considering the silk taffeta dress either in the v-neck or the scoop neck, well and even maybe in strapless. Really, I am trying to figure out which cut is the most flattering on girls of all shapes. And which one provides the most coverage and is modest.
If anyone can provide any feedback or even any pictures of your bridesmaids in these dresses, I would really appreciate

I love Ann Taylor!
Just one peice of advice- their sizes vary by style. So if at all possible, I highly recommend trying each on (or ordering well in advance to be able to exchange). If you have smaller girls who don’t normally wear petite, they might consider petite sizes at AT just because of the way some of their tops are cut.

I love the Ann Taylor bridesmaid dresses! I’m telling my BMs to pick whatever dress in a certain color they want, that way they choose something that they look good in 🙂

We are using Ann Taylor bridesmaid dresses in Cranberry Red. I gave them the choice to pick but they all chose the V-neck dress. I think they all felt that they would be more comfortable in a dress with straps. One girl already has hers and she said they were wonderful. The others should be getting theirs this week, and when I see them personally I can get back to you. Good luck!

@shushu1208: Did you consider the scoop-neck ones or did any of your bridesmaids go with the scoop-neck?
I think I’ve narrowed it down to the v-neck and the scoop-neck…

Normally I adore AT dresses and I have a handful of them. However, a friend of mine chose the silk strapless dress for her bms, incl me (it’s a faux-wrap style, http://www.anntaylor.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=26593&N=1200034&pCategoryId=3942&categoryId=229&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_229&defaultColor=Glazed%20Fig&defaultSizeType=Regular’ defer=’defer), and the fit is absolutely horrid. Other than that one, I think you’re ok.

I liked all of them and I didn’t have too much of a preference. They just all happened to pick the V-neck. Sadly no one went with the scoopneck, but I think that’s because most of them wear V-neck dresses/clothing already and that is what they were most comfortable with. I myself like the scoopneck :-). I think Ann Taylor has some tips for what style works best for different people (http://www.anntaylor.com/catalog/editorial.jsp?pageName=SizeChart&pCategoryId=3942′ defer=’defer). I’m sorry I can’t help more but once I see the dresses I’ll try and post some pictures. Good luck!

Sorry for the delay, but here is a picture of the V-neck (however, no sash in this photo). It looks great on all the girls!

How is the sizing in the V-neck? True to size?
