My original engagement ring was an anniversary ring. I told my husband not to get me a ring with a high setting because I’m not kind to my hands at all.

My original wedding band was a plain yellow gold band, for our three years anniversary I got 2 bands -)

I wear them together ☺️

These rings are ALL lovely, but if baby poop, floor scrubbing, garage painting, puppy whelping, potato gardening…..are in your future, nothing beats a plain gold or platinum band for standing up to messes.

A ring set with stones can be an elegant engagement or wedding ring, but if you are a bee who plans to wear your ring all the time, realize that you’ll wind up spending quite a bit of time cleaning it.

My 14k band looks like new, so does my mother’s, and so does my Grandma’s, in 18k gold!

ann.reid.9277 :  I stopped wearing my original ring/set because it doesn’t fit me anymore. I wear a plain stainless steel band as part of my upgraded set now. I work in a stock room and not having to worry about popping out a diamond or scratching my gold is such peace of mind.

Love my wedding band! It’s advertised as an anniversary band and I wanted something I can wear on its own and still have a lot of sparkle.

LouiseN :  I was leaning towards something like this originally and as much as I love my solitaire, I kind of wish I’d stuck with bands…yours look gorgeous.

I often wear this ruby and diamond band, which was a 15th anniversary gift, on its own. Nice and flat so I don’t worry about banging it!

I’ve only got the one ring. I didn’t want a stone that sticks up so we found a band that could stand alone. One side is 0.50 ct diamonds and the other is engraved with a swirling motif. I love that I can just spin it around and it looks like a whole different ring.

My wedding band is a diamond and sapphire one. I only wear my rings when I go out and have a plain stainless steel one that I wear when we go to the beach or I know that I will be a bit rough on my hands.
