9 was amazing. i saw the video and got all teary. 13 was awesome too.

but i would die if Fiance had done any of those things. he proposed in a restaurant, without a ring, over pizza. nothing crazy, nothing big. i don’t do big. i had a big proposal once. it wasn’t worth it at all. at least not to me.

@spezia:  DH proposed on the beach while my nosy, in your face family watched with binoculars.  Then we shared a Palson (sp?) with some Canadian’s who also witnessed it.  It was awesome.  I’m not sure why we didn’t make the list?  Maybe the Canadian’s didn’t send in the video in time.

I mean, if it fits the couple, why judge?  None of these scream me and Fiance, but to each their own.

@BrandNewBride:  My dad died and even I find that creepy lol Going to the grave and saying something like “I love her and will take care of her, we know you will be watching over us on the big day” is one thing…but if a guy was like “hey, can I have your permission” to my dads urn…id be like…uhhhh

I can deal with number 14, but the rest, you’ve got to be kidding me. I will also mention, being from SoCal, I am SO over Disneyland proposals.

I would be pissed if my SO did the whole “3 part proposal” thing. By the end of the night I’d probably say no out of spite!

But I would die for the pug proposal. I usually gag over these kinds of things…but come on!

that 30 min proposal video is more about the guy jerking himself off than their relationship. It’s super pathetic how much he loves himself..

sorry, it’s been brewing ever since I first saw it.

@spezia:  I’d have loved the pug proposal, but none of the other ones really appeal to me. I’m sure that they were great for the couple and very sweet for everyone who knew them. But I so much prefer the beautiful, intimate way FH proposed to me. It was more our style and such a special moment between the two of us.

@Apple_Blossom:  I don’t judge unless they’re inconveniencing me by blocking off a whole street or something. If that is the case I will subtly barge past the marching band and go where I need to. People who inconvenience everyone with big, garish proposals are assholes and they’re not impressing anybody

@misstwinkle:  Yeah, I kinda know what you mean. I mean what even was most of that?
