Nope, it’s just as tacky as putting it on your wedding invite. We put our wedding website on the save the dates by the hotel info and same for the invitations.

ETA: It was on both of our shower invitations, but that was the host decision, not mine.

Nope! Just on my website, shower invite, and through word of mouth.  It seems really rude to put it on a save the date… you aren’t even invited to anything yet!

ETA: Our wedding website was on our save the date though!

We have registry info on the website, the website address was on the save the dates (and might be on the wedding invitation too, haven’t gotten that far yet). My shower hosts also included it on shower invitations.

I just threw it on my wedding website. It’s convenient because there are links directly to the registry

NOT on the save the date…that’s basically like, “Hey, we’re getting married! Not close enough to send out invites, but you’re going to be invited so make sure you get us a good gift!” No way.

Putting them on the shower invites is totally normal as that’s the point of the shower. Word of mouth is the obvious choice, and I think it’s dine to put it on the website too. I’ve never seen it on a wedding invite, that’s just not done etiquette-wise in my circle. I know in some regions it’s always included, but not here.

Ours is on our website (website on the save the dates), and we’ve told people in person (when they ask). I’m sure it’ll be on the shower invites, too.

We put it on our website, under the “registry” section. I’ve shared the link to the wedding website with close friends and family. The website also got posted on the Facebook event (lol) that my friend created for my shower. My mom and close friends know where I’m registered, so they can tell people who ask. The registry info won’t go on any invitations, but the address of our wedding website will.

I’m really relieved to see that ‘wedding announcement’ has zero votes so far…I missed that poll option the first time, but oh my gosh that’s just so much worse that it’s difficult to even imagine. “Hey. we got married! You didn’t make the invite list, but please send us a gift anyways!” *facepalm*

Just on the website and by word of mouth. The wedding website was on the save the date (though we didn’t have registry info up at that time as it was way too early) and in a card in the invitations. The registry info was included on the shower invitation by the family friend who hosted.

Almost everyone in my area puts it on their wedding invites. I can’t stand it! So rude & tacky!

We had it included in our website and we put the link on the save the datesMy we weren’t going to put it on the shower invited but my Maid/Matron of Honor pointed out that my side of tham family, being mostly Mexican, is not used to wedding websites and she asked the family and no one looked at the site in my family! So she decided to put it in the shower invites and I’m thankful to her! I’m not sure what we will be doing with the wedding invites but we are ordering them soon. a probably just the website since my Maid/Matron of Honor is very vocal with my family.

We put our registry card in our invitation and on our wedding website.

We were thanked over and over again for putting it in the invitation. It’s commonly done in my social circle and even those Out of Town people who it wasn’t common for were so pleased to know without having to hunt and said they wished people did this more often. No one was offended at all.
