I think you can start using it as late as CD6 if I remember correctly, so that shouldn’t affect it. It is normal to get a lot of high days but that’s definitely odd that you’re still getting high days after your chart shows ovulation. I wish I had a better answer for you!

Get an actual fertility monitor, (clear blue easy) temping has too big of an error margin, temps can vary for so many reasons; even by drinking something cold or hot.

Could you already be pregnant? I was using cheap strip OPKs, got 3 days of positives and remembered reading on here that they can be turned positive by HCG as well as LH. Not sure if the tests in the monitor work the same, but might be worth investigating!

The human body is a wonderful, mysterious pain in the ass.

I hope you get things figured out soon! x

so estro or estrodiol or whatever starts to peak slowly before LH and when the meter sees that, it starts giving a bunch of “high”s and that’s annoying but normal. But now you’ve ovulated and it’s still going Which is just wrong. What comes after high? Peak right? I don’t think it ever saw your LH surge I guess. arent you supposed to use it with first morning urine? Why are you testing in the afternoon?

I have read that once it picks up estrogen(high) that by default it continues with high readings until in picks up LH ( peak). The first month or so its normal not to get a peak. That doesnt mean you’re not Oing. Also, the monitor defaults to using 10 OR 20 tests a month. So, my monitor will ask me to start POAS CD6 and if O withen 10 days I will only use 10 sticks. If I do NOT O withen 10 days and O say 12 days later I still have to pee on 20 sticks. SO if I O 12 days later after I get 2 peak readings I put blank unused test in the rest of the 20 days. Them test are expensive! Are you using the test in the afternoon? Thats NOT how the machine was made to be used. I use CBFM with FMU and do cheap OPK around 2pm and still temp to confirm O. I would HIGHLY recommend using the machine as the dircections say. GL to you!

PS – I wouldn’t let yourself worry too much about your hormones. You wouldn’t get a nice temp shift like that if your hormones weren’t at least somewhat in order.

Is this your first month using it? I’ve heard that some people have this happen the first month, and then in the second month the monitor will give a peak once it’s gotten to “know you.”

This actually happened to me this month after 7 months of using it and getting the usual low/high/peak. In my case I think my hormones were different because last month I had a CP, and that’s why it didn’t detect the peak. I’m pretty sure I did actually ovulate though, because of other symptoms and because I got a super faint squinter on a Wondfo today 🙂

Hope that helps! I’m jealous of the fancy new monitor. I bought the old one right before the newer model came out.
