Dinner, especially when made in a $2000 Thermomix. Who cares? I bet I made a better dinner with my two hands and it was FREE. Don’t see me bragging about that on FB. ANY pic where the girl is like “Ohhhh I am ugly, right guys??” Just to get some ego boosting. It’s pathetic and SO much worse when they actually have a boyfriend! I have also seen guys do this too… so desperate.

I get to the point if anyone starts overposting anything on my newsfeed, I just take them off my newsfeed by unfollowing them on their profile page. Problem solved 😀

I finally pulled the plug on my facebook account for unrelated reasons, but when I was on there my least favorite was baby/kid pictures. Many were gross or painfully repetitious (a whole album of pictures almost identical to one another — what?!?!) and all were just generally uninteresting. Love that hide feature!

I always wonder how these kids will feel when they are teenagers and adults. Personally I am pretty grateful there was no social media when I was growing up — I would hate to have that digital paper trail of my personal life readily available to hundreds/thousands of near strangers. Definitely don’t plan on doing this to my future child.

After that — the check out my new “business” and come to one of my “events” posts are the worst. No, you’re not a new business owner, you’re the latest cog in the candle/skincare/personalized initial handbags/gimmick diet/overpriced non-essential pyramid scheme. And no, it’s not an event, it’s an ambush where you plan to pressure and guilt your friends into buying crap they don’t need and/or signing up to sell said crap themselves so you can get your kick back.

* any kind of forward, “post this if you support X”, “post this or a bad thing will happen” “apple is giving out free ipads to everyone who posts this”

* sappy I am so in love  with my honey because at least with my FB friends it’s from girls who recently posted passive aggressive comments about what a [email protected]^#e-bag their partner is, or in the case of one of craziest friends, a rant about how he cheated on her complete with pictures she found that proved it…

*pics of gifts, esp from the people in the above category

*passive aggressive posts attacking someone on their friends list but not saying who or why ( I mean, its good they dont say who, but like dude, just talk to them personally about it)

*”#blessed statuses that are humble-brag and not actuallly about being blessed.

* check ins, anywhere, especially the gym

For some reason food pics don’t really bother me, I kinda enjoy them. the cheese stands alone (pun intended) hahaha!

I have this one friend who posts a new status every 30 minutes (or at least it feels that way) about what’s happening to her at that very moment.  She’s currently on vacation and these are her posts since Friday (she’s snowboarding; also she “checks-in” places on each post):

Had a blast riding the powder today and can’t wait for more tomorrow!! No amount of working out prepares my legs for this!!

Powder baby!!

Riding the powder wave…oh so happy!!

Delay in opening!!

Slope time!!!

New outfit..check! Thanks Shoreline!

Powder is coming..

Love Shoreline Tahoe!!!!!!!

Home of the 10,000 calorie breakfast!! Yum!!!

It’s snowing like crazy!!

Flying and still working like a boss!!!

Is it true? 4 foot a snow for Tahoe?! I hope so or I will be calling the today show!! Let the fun begin!

Tahoe bound in less than 24 hours..this girl is pumped!! Snowed all day in Texas and can’t wait to see it snow in Tahoe!!

It’s so irritating!  You’re at this amazing place, and YOU ARE UPDATING YOUR FACEBOOK.  GET THE EFF OFF FACEBOOK AND ENJOY NATURE.  UGHHHHHHH.

Drives me nuts when people are on vacation and they update their facebook constantly to scoreboard.  Just enjoy yourself.

@Nona99:  my entire instagram feed is just pictures of food that I’ve artfully tried to make look as much like vomit as possible. some people can make their food look like vomit just by accident, but it takes a certain skill to do it intentionally every time! You might say it’s my secret superpower.

@Ninteenthchance:  I’m starting to get tired of the people who post business stuff. They have a completely separate facebook page for their business (such as essential oils or organic baby food) and they STILL share every single post on their personal Facebook. I am leaning towards removing two friends becuase of the constantly reminders of parties, catalog orders, and new products.

There’s a girl on mine who is pregnant and every SINGLE day posts pictures of her belly, or about what she’s eating.  Usually 3 updates a day.  And in all the belly pictures, she is never wearing any pants.  Just panties.

Today it’s a pic of her in her panties and the caption says “Guess I’m not a size small anymore”

wtf.  Another one awhile back said “I’m already wondering if my child’s friends will call me a milf”

@weatherbug:  I’m just impressed that she remembered to close the quotes after all of that.

@Ninteenthchance:  I’m with you on the food photos. Somebody will post a picture of chicken, mashed potatoes, and roasted vegetables and act like they just made something extraordinary. Not only that, but people will comment saying how amazing it looks! What?!?

I’m just against the over-sharing of everything. I don’t need to know what you’re eating, where you are, and what your schedule is for the day. Wasn’t it not that long ago that telling people where you live, posting pictures of your children, and telling the world when your house was empty for the night were bad things?
