I was in a similar spot as you and almost went the Anomalie  route, but I read a few bad reviews (here and on wedding wire I think) that really scared me off. I did the initial call with them, but just didn’t feel confident in it.

Do you mind me asking you what your vision is? Lots of very helpful bees here that could help you find something you’d love πŸ™‚ Never hurts to look a little more before deciding to do something custom!

Have you gone to Macy’s? I know it seems weird but I found a ton of GORGEOUS dresses that fit my exact vision and they were so professional and not salesy at all!  I just fot my dress this weekend!

PrincessPeach13 :  second this!!! I was there this weekend and was drooling over all their beautiful bridal and formal dresses. I didn’t even think of them when dress shopping, but wish I had!

rojo :  Macy’s exclusively sells Bridal by Demitrios Dresses.  There are a lot of stores that sell them so there may be one in your area.  On the website, they have a store locator.  They also have photos of all of their designs.

rojo :  I immediately thought of Watters/Willoby, but sounds like they’re on your radar already. Have you looked at Truvelle? The also have that whimsical, boho, but not overly girly style that looks beautiful in the mountains

Hi there! My dress came from Alex Veil Bridal on Etsy, which also has similar dresses to what you posted. I swayed more towards the non-traditional, flowy and ethereal dresses that made me feel like a fairy lol. It was scary finding a dress online that you can’t see until you get it, but I really love my dress. I had this dress on my wish list for over a year and also went to boutiques and bridal salons and never found anything else I liked as much. I think if you keep going back to your Kyrene dress, go for it!

Here’s the dress I picked up, in case you want to check them out:

I used Anomalie and it was a really intense and up-and-down process. In the end, I got a custom dress that would cost over 6k at a wedding dress store for only $1400. The process was not streamlined as much as I thought it would be, but in the end it was VERY worth it. I wrote on a couple other threads as I was going through the process, so you can see my real-time frustruations…but all in all, I am soooooo happy.
