Here’s my latest conundrum:
We know several couples in long term relationships who don’t live together. Is it considered inappropriate to send one invitation to the friend we know best with both names on the outer envelope? I’m not using inner envelopes, so that’s not an option.
It seems silly (and more expensive) to send each person their own invitation when we *know* they’ll be attending together, but I also don’t want to make anyone feel like they’re “just another plus one,” by putting only one person’s name on the envelope.
The wedding isn’t super formal and I’m not terribly concerned with etiquette, just wondering what other folks would do/have done in this situation.
