I reaaaally try not to complain about the dumb things that people seem to post on Facebook, but this one girl that I graduated HS has been getting progressively more annoying over the past few weeks. She found out she was pregnant I want to say 7 weeks ago at 5 weeks pregnant, and she didn’t even wait like 30 seconds to post about it. The best part is that from the minute she found out she was pinning baby girl’s rooms on Pinterest to the point where I will feel super bad for the kid if it turns out to be a boy.
I think she’s 12-13 weeks now, and today she posted an entire album of baby stuff. The first picture in the album was of an outfit that said “Mommy’s Boy” or something on it. Then if you continue through the album it contains clothes that say “Daddy’s Girl” and other things like diapers, wipes, a baby monitor, etc. I was super confused, but didn’t say anything. Someone asked if she was having twins, or if she had found out what she was having. Her response:
“Nope, I just decided to go shopping for both genders, but it’s not twins and I won’t find out what I’m having until I’m 20 weeks!”
What!? LOL I mean I get being excited, but why not just buy yellow and green!? LOL What have you seen/heard today (FB or not) that blew your mind or confused you?

@beetee123: I will never, ever understand these types of posts:
“So and so checked in at such and such hospital – ‘OMG MY POOR BABY!'”
I see this nonsense regularly. I also can’t stand “here’s a photo of my sick child” posts. Grrrrrrrrr.

@lovelyhulagirl33: My cousin’s wife did something like that the other day! She checked in at the hospital said, “finally going home!” when someone commented asking her what happened she said, “…I don’t want to talk about it.” WTF, then why are you posting it on FB!? LOL
Another girl from my HS posted a picture of her child looking half dead in a shopping cart. The caption said, “my poor baby is so sick, but she was such a trooper during the errands we ran today!” The kid looked miserable, and they were at Target!

@lovelyhulagirl33: love ur name! hehe *Hula girl high-5*
That is silly to shop for both, what a waste!
and yes! I just hate vague emo statuses in general. and yes of course the comment that follows “i don’t want to talk about it” or they just don’t respond to all these people asking if they are OK. Don’t post that crap then!

@leisha606: Someone actually commented, “don’t take the tags off…” Too bad because you can already see that she did in one of the pictures, and I’m pretty sure the tag said Gymboree, which is soo expensive! Oh well, knowing this girl she’ll have a few more popping out in the next few years, so I’m sure they’ll get used eventually.

@beetee123: I can’t stand it!
SO’s has a sister that is rather ‘alternative’ in her parenting ways… In other words, she doesn’t believe in vaccines. Ok whatever, that’s cool I guess.
BUT everytime around flu season she’s constantly posting about how everyone in their house is sick! They go to the ER at least 1-2 times each year for flu-like symtoms alone. I’m just thinking really?? Get off facebook and get your children some basic healthcare!

@Nika2013: Oh gosh, I hate people like that! I mean I don’t agree with people who refuse to vaccinate their children, but I also don’t run around trying to shove my beliefs down their throats either. I hate when people complain about something that they have caused to happen. Her poor kids! 🙁
