We are having a little boy in May and his name will be Landon. If we had been having a girl (or if we have one in the future) we would’ve used the name Kaylie.

I love Avery for girls or boys.  Or Aiden or Aiven.  Rylie is so cute!  And I used to think Landon was such a unique name that no one else knew about yet, but I guess not!

We want to incorporate family names into the baby’s name, we don’t know yet if we are having a boy or girl, but

girl

Robin Elizabeth
Leah Elizabeth
Catherine Elizabeth  Elizabeth was my Great Grandmothers middle name, my husbands late mothers middle name (she passed in 09 to cancer), and his sister’s first name so it will definitely be in our little girl’s name. lol

Boy name

Ryan Matthew
Matthew Leslie
David Matthew. Matthew is husbands middle name, David is my dads name, and leslie the name of both my grandfathers.

@chenny2013:  Landon actually seems to be a very popular name right now!

We’re going w/family names.  First name–after my great grandma, middle name after his grandma.

We’re Chicano/Mexican-American/Tejano…whatever you want to call it (lol), so it was very important to my husband that our baby names be names that can be pronounced in Spanish (he’s from South Texas, where Spanish is very dominant language).  For me, it was important that they be able to be pronounced equally easily in Spanish AND English, as this is reflective of our culture (I grew up only speaking English–but Spanish is part of my heritage).

That’s how we picked our name.  Baby due in a month!

I spent years of my life online when deciding on my childrens name’s… I honestly believe it is the hardest part of having a child.

I now have 2 daughters and a son and their names are:

Mya Catherine (Catherine after my nan- middle name)

Eva Margaret  (Margaret after his nan – middle name)

Conor James (James after my dad- middle name)

I do not envy your position but I do wish you all the very best of luck O and if it helps any… all my children were born by the time I eventually settled on a name!

Good luck!! 🙂

We had the hardest time picking out a name for our son. There were tons of names that we liked, but couldn’t decide until he got here. He’s Ethan. For a girl, we like the name Amelia. Unfortunately, one of my husband’s coworkers took the name, so if we have a girl in the future, picking out a name may be tough.
