!  I’m actually going to be in the Bay Area during those days!  That will be our week to run around like crazy booking all the key vendors for our August Bay Area wedding.  I’m super surprised because I always miss these type of things.  🙂  Both days sound great and I’d love to go.

I voted for Thursday, but actually both days would work for me, as I am now “funemployed” (as my fiance calls it)

I know of a totally awesome tiki pirate bar that just opened, but unfortunately it’s not very close to public transportation unless you want to brave MUNI or walk ~7 blocks from Civic Center BART. (Although there is a ton of free street parking)

I voted for Thursday, but I can do either day. The tiki pirate bar is Smuggler’s Cove… as a total dork for tiki, I fully endorse it, and I take BART there all the time. BUT! It’s brand-new, and jam-packed these days. It would be rough to do a get-together there.

There are so many great options that are a little closer to BART/Muni. I’ll check my handy-dandy map of BART-friendly bars and report with the results…

Okay, here’s my handy-dandy map of Drinking in San Francisco:

Humuhumu’s Map of Drinking in San Francisco

These are all places that have good cocktail programs. The blue shaded areas are the walking area radius from each BART station in the city.

Some of these spots are restaurants that have a bar area, but they may not be big enough for us, depending on the turnout we’re expecting.

Clock Bar (at the Westin) jumps out as a possible good choice.

I would LOVE to make one of these.  I’m coming from the Penninsula too, so my vote would be for a place near the Caltrain or with easy parking!

I can’t do either days.  I have class Wednesday and Thursday nights.  🙁  If at all possible, can the next one be on a Friday.  I know… I know… That’s usually date night.

I could do either day. I’m coming from the East Bay by car so somewhere with easy parking is best for me. Cosmopolitan works for me as I know they validate for parking in the garage next door.

I think either day should work for me.  These are so much fun – thanks for organizing, Miss Cola!

hmm. I may be able to make it.. Depends on how work goes this week..but a place with public trans would be nice since I don’t drive in to work.
