Same!   (Hence me being on weddingbee all day long!) lol, I really need to get off my computer and take a bubble bath.  Being snowed in is no excuse to wear my Pjs for two days in a row…gross virginia

Yes! Here too!! I work in the city but live way out in the burbs. They won’t close our office unless there is a state of emergency, but my boss was super cool about us working from home, thank goodness! Now I’m just hanging out on WB while the snow is falling :o)

we missed the last storm but it’s coming straight towards us tonight! schools already closed and unfortunately my job NEVER closes but luckily i’m in a dept that needs at least 50% staffing – this 50% already requested the day off in anticipation.  not looking forward to it since i still have to go to work on thursday Cry

Yup. Snowed in. Again. At least I’m at home–my SO is staying at the office for a few nights to cover for his coworkers, since he’s the only single one left!

I’m watching Marie Antoinette as a remedy to the dreariness, haha. When will it be spring?!

Snowed in – again. But Darling Husband wanted pizza SOOO badly and of course, no one is delivering right now.  So he spent about 30 minutes digging his car out to go pick up the pizza!

You have to admit, that’s determination!

I’m hoping for a snow day tomorrow! We’re supposed to get a foot or so, and school (as I’m a teacher) is already a half day…let’s make it a full snow day! On the same topic, has anyone ever heard of turning your pjs inside out to guarantee a snow day? I used to do that all the time as a kid! Maybe I’ll break out that old tradition tonight!

@jaybird12: Yeah, we used to do that too! I already have a snow day tomorrow though, so I’m good to go, haha.

The funny thing is, about a week ago my little brother found this aquamarine ring. He called it the snow ring, and thought that if he wore it to bed, we would get snow and thereby snow days. I swear, the thing actually works! We’ve had almost three feet of snow since then and are supposed to get as much as two more this time!

Yes … snow day tomorrow, too!  If it’s as bad as they say, maybe even on Thursday!  I’m going to hate my life making up all these days in June, but I’m loving it right now!  🙂

Great feeling calling our company “snow line” an hour ago and hearing we are closed today! We are supposed to get 18-24 inches by tonight! We just got 24 inches this past weekend. This is just nuts for our region! Hope everyone is enjoying their Snow Day!!

this is just getting ridiculous! my company’s been closed all week, plus half of friday. unfortunately, i have to either work from home or take vacation time 🙁 and we have this teeny sky light in our apt that’s starting to leak under the 30+inches of snow—eeek!

I’m in Boston…currently waiting for the snow so my work can close early:-D

Last night, while watching the news, I noticed that a lot of schools were already annoucning closings for today. So far, there is no snow on the ground, and its only flurrying…I hear its supposed to be heavy around 1pm. Fingers are crossed!
