so, i would love to give my girls a spa finder gift card or something non-wedding related, but i feel like the expenses are adding up! i am paying for their hair and makeup, and i’m also planning to give them monogrammed tote bags with a matching cosmetic bag which will hold their wedding day jewelry, snacks, water, lip gloss, and flip flops. is this enough? or should i also consider the gift card?

I think you should consider the gift card. Non wedding realted items are appricated.

I agree with PP. I am 100% giving my girls a gift card to a local spa because I know it will be used and they will all love to relax on my expense after the wedding!! I would go for it.

I think you are giving them plenty enough already. The gift card would be nice but paying for hair and makeup alone for each girl really adds up depending on how many bridesmaids. I guess another factor would be how much they have had to spend. My girls spent $130 on their dress, I’m not making them wear matching shoes, just gave them a color, and I’m not sure how much they’ll spend on shower and bachelorette party. But I’m paying for their jewelry, flip flops, and a coach wristlet. I’m paying for my Maid/Matron of Honor hair and possibly getting her a gift card.

I’d do a gift card. Although it’s nice of you to pay for the hair and make up, it’s not really a gift since you are requiring that it be done. (If they could opt-out and keep the cash, then it would be a gift.)
