Okay ladies! I need your creative minds’ assistance if you dont mind! I know I want the colors royal blue and a lemon yellow in the wedding (with ivory in there instead of white) but I was thinking there was another color needed… lime green?? Lavendar?? The wedding is going to be in springtime and I am having an outdoor ceremony under a gazebo and having an inside reception. My venue is Wisteria Place and they will be providing all decorations and need my colors together. Here is the link of where the ceremony and reception will take place and what it looks like:

Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated

I think that you will have a nice contrast sticking to just the blue and yellow, but if you feel like you MUST have one more I would choose the lavendar just because lime green with those already vivid color choices could be a bit too much. Good Luck!

If you are having flowers and some greenery in them, then that adds some more color (and it would be a softer green and not so vibrant against the other vibrant colors). That being said, my colors were cobalt blue and lime green (although the green came out a little softer than I had originally envisioned) and for the ceremony we put yellow flowers down the aisle. Here’s a pic from our wedding to visualize it.

Our colors were Royal Blue and Apple Green, and we ended up choosing light pink and ivory as our accent colors. I like your first choice with the blue, green, and yellow (in the inspiration photo, the “yellow” actually looks more like it’s just lighter versions of the lime green).

@shellzbellz: Oh that looks great!!! Where we are incorporating the yellow will be the flowers and the centerpieces so yes that would tie in nicely. Our theme is a calla lily theme and ONLY calla lilies will be the flowers we are using ( I cant stand roses, too commonly used, I like to be very unique).

@pengoala: Yes I guess apple green is more of the color Im thinking, not the neon lime green I believe everyone is thinking of.

What about aqua. Just a thought and a bit different. I really like the apple green but I might be a bit bias. I used that color in my wedding.

@suzieq80: Thanks so much! But have you seen anything other than what I just showed you for the royal blue, lavendar and yellow wedding? My family suggested that I go to a fabric store and get swatches of the colors and put them side by side and see how well they look together. Have any of you ladies done this? And where did you get the swatches from and how much do they cost? I got my royal blue and yellow from davids bridal for $1 but they dont have the lavendar or the green I have in mind.

I would stick with the blue and yellow. I would definitelly not to LIME green, but a pale green could be pretty.
