So I FINALLY started getting gifts for my (7!) girls! after a while of back and forth, I decided on Vera Bradely tote bags ( different pattern for each girl ) and I am also framing a photo of me and each girl and writing a heart-felt little *thank you i love you* letter on the back. I am a softy 🙂 I am also buying their shoes because I requested they wear flats so it only felt right, although i dont want this to be part of their gift.
I am struggling on what else to do? I was thinking silk robes because, let’s face it, cute wedding photos! but also, i love robes and I think my girls do too. they are all very girly as well. i just dont want their gifts to be wedding props! :-/
Any help would be lovely! what are you doing for your girls?

@RadiantLove: I think you have done enough!! I think what you have done is fantastic 🙂
I am doing something similar. Framed picture with mushy thnak you letter, a box of home made bath goodies. Including; scrubes, lip balm, and butter. Paying for the hotel room the night before, and catered delivered breakfast in the a.m.
@ksus07: I love what you did!!

That sounds like an amazing gift to give each girl! I would love to get something like that as a bridesmaid. Honestly, if you just leave it at what you have, that’s fantastic. If you add the robes, that’s even better, but I think you’d be fine just giving what you have listed.
I got my girls robes (not to wear the day of, unless they want to, but because I am obsessed with them myself and they always comment on wanting some too haha), personalized hangers (couldn’t resist!), totes and a frame with note in it from me (I’ll give them a wedding photo of each of us together when I get the pictures afterwards). I’m thinking I might get them bracelets too or some other type of jewellery, but I’m not sure.
I’m also paying for their hair the day of and manicures the day before, but that’s more for us to spend time together before the wedding and less of a “thank you” gift.

I’m still in the process as well… I’ve bought them all robes, and I’m going to get them each a necklace. I’ve just picked them up here and there as I find one I like at a good price. I think I have 3 necklaces so far, but I need 5. I was also thinking about purchasing them clutches from Light in The Box..
I’m unsure of how much we’re supposed to spend on gifts? $50? $100? I have 5 girls…

I did a spa package, clutch, earrings, assorted lotions/bath products/nail polish and candy. I love the robe idea – I wish I had thought of that. I love robes!

@RadiantLove: i think that’s plenty! i bought my girls custom-printed pashminas from Etsy (each one tailored to their personality), a personalized clutch (also from Etsy, personalized to each girl’s taste), wrote them each a heartfelt letter and put it all in a photo box. i also bought my Maid/Matron of Honor a pair of earrings. 🙂

So far, this is what I have for my bridesmaids:
Cahoots tote bag from Kitschn Glam
Cuff from Anthropologie that either says Merci or Bonjour
Mug from Pottery Barn with their initial on it
Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover from Mary Kay (seriously awesome stuff)
I may get them cardigans or shawls or pashminas to wear in the A/C, but haven’t decided.

I got my girls:
– Navy Blue cotton jersey robes (fron Kohl’s!)
– A DIY name hanger (really easy project!)
– A vintage handcerchief
– A Thank You note
– A cute canvas mini pouch with:
— A fun chocolate bar
— A DIY painted shot glass (with their name and a sylized painting of them on it)
— A mini bottle of some fun alcohol
My budget was $200 for 4 girls, and I think I may have gone a smidge over, but they’re worth it.
I plan on buying my little sister (MoH) an Etsy giftcard as well; since she spent so much money on the wedding I want her to have some money to spend on herself.

@RadiantLove: I got mine from an Etsy seller called Thaichill. You should be able to search them up pretty easily. The colours are pretty accurate, but bear in mind everyone’s different monitor settings, etc. I also bought myself a similar style robe but in white.

@RadiantLove: I found mine at La Vie En Rose – they were regularly $40 and on sale for $10…I couldn’t resist a bargain. I purposely bought mis-matching, but I could’ve easily got them matching as well. They are silk, light and airy. If I think of it, I can take photos to post later but that won’t really help you… They always have robes on sale there though, I’d go check them out

@CakeyP: How do you DIY the hangers? I like them, but don’t wanna spend the money since they are pricey on Etsy…. would love a tutorial!

This is like an Etsy delight 😉 haha.
Robes (for them and me)
Pashmina (in case it’s chilly)
Earrings & bracelet for the wedding
Beautiful candles and body bars (these candles are my favourite thing ever, so relaxing, only non-etsy thing :P)
Cute bag to put it all in 🙂 (one for me too!)
