@spicyshimmer:  it’s gorgeous!  I love it.  But if you are unhappy, and Fiance is okay with it, you should try and find that setting that will give you butterflies.

Nope it totally suits your finger IMO.

If it really bothers you they have bands that go on both sides that make it look like it has a halo. They are pretty cool!

But, if it REALL REALLY bothers you I would talk to your Fiance… you have to wear it forever, maybe you can agree on an upgrade in the future?

I think it’s lovely and really classy ^^

If you spoke to your Fiance would there be any chance of altering or changing it? Honesty is generally best 🙂

But yeah, I personally think it’s gorgous and you really have no need to feel self-conscious 😀

I don’t know the budget but a more ornate setting would also be more expensive, maybe he was trying to go for the biggest center stone possible? He did still get diamonds on the sides.

@spicyshimmer:   Ohhhh plz don’t feel your ring is not worthy of the appraisal you deserve to share in this exciting time … I completely understand wanting to have the dream  ring you desire… Discuss with Fiance and ask his opinion of adding a halo…. On the other hand your ring is elegant and very classic. It suites your hand… But it’s not about what we like! It’s what you feel, desire and will love for the rest of your life

All of these “Is my ring too small?” posts make me a little sad especially when the ring is really pretty and of a good size already. I know what its like to have envy or want a bigger ring, but I still cant help feeling a little sad when I see these pop up.

I think it’s really pretty, but I also think if it’s not what you wanted and you have the means to change it, then you should do what will make you happy.

I always wanted a halo, and I ended up getting a dainty halo along the lines of what you want, and I love it. If it wasn’t I wanted and I had the ability to change it, I would have.

I don’t think its too small at all and I think it looks gorgeous! If you’re super disappointed then I would consider maybe mentioning it to him and maybe you can change the setting. It would break my heart to bring this up to my Fiance though just because he was SO excited when he proposed. But a lot of men seem to be okay with changing it up if their girl is unhappy. Maybe he just forgot what you mentioned liking?

You could always get some type of statement wedding band to jazz it up, too.

I LOVE your nailpolish, btw.

@spicyshimmer:  do you mind me asking what the carat size is? My Fiance proposed with a setting I wasn’t crazy about and we are in the middle of having it reset into a halo. I waited almost a year to have it changed though, and my setting was just plain white gold. I think yours is beautiful and doesn’t even remotely look too small. I know it’s all about how you feel about it though.
