elderbee :  yay! From a “can finally safely say he’s toilet trained” mumma of a 20 week old, I’ve definitely made the mistake of trusting my pup inside. And pulling the “we’re so lucky to have a toilet trained pup at 14 weeks” brag and immediately regretting it. Oh how we were wrong. It wasnt until he was probably 16-17 weeks that we could safely say it.

Your pup is adorable and I love the name!!

Plato says HAI. Puppies are work but then they cuddle into your and all is forgiven.

Awwww, look at little Cora! She is precious!!!

She certainly looks like an intelligent little girl.

I’ve done the plane thing a few times. The longest was Germany to Los Angeles. She was in high spirits and happy to have a few treats, happy to meet people, just happy to be her wonderful self.  We had that special girl for 12 years until kidney failure stole her.

The most recent arrival was baby Raff, two days after Christmas 2017. Geeze, he was little! With a tilting head and thumping head, he made me fall in love instantly.  Based on his DNA, he could have been a terror in the house.  But, he was an outstanding puppy; not at all destructive or a bitey monster. Plenty of drive, though. Definitely a good pick. Our Lexi housebroke him for me.  I thought housebreaking in a two story house during the dead of winter might be a bit challenging.  But, you know, I barely even remember it.  Raff was really, really easy. He figured it out very quickly.

Of course, I have to ask, how is hubby responding to Cora?

I think you’re right on the nose about her being a sensitive little gal. My Bugsby was tenacious from the moment we got him at 10 weeks. You can see it in her eyes, she has many thoughts. Congrats on your new fur baby!

Why would you stop obsessively posting puppy pics?! That’s a terrible idea.  How will we keep track of Cora’s rapid growth phase?

Never doubted that hubs would fall like a ton of lead.

Ah, yes.  The bad part of babyhood will pass and become a just a blur.

As requested, here is Raff with his wonderful, now departed playmate, our Lexipoo. They played like GSDs.  Daddy might have some beer pics. We’re at the stage of kinda, sorta beginning to maybe think about another girl. Raff really needs to run around and play and three Shepherds is normal for me, at least since 1991. The vet basically prescribed a companion dog for Raff the other day, since I have stopped doing IPO with him.

I’ll include a Lexi and a Raff.  Sorry about the sizes; no clue how to fix that.

Raff is wearing his superhero cape because he got an owie on his neck somehow and the vet suggested a t shirt to keep him from fussing with it.  I love this pic.  You can really see his Czech head.

I think we all know the ultimate outcome here.
